Venue Collective

The beauty of staying close to simplicity

At Venue Collective, they excel at three things: venues, service, and catering. They believe there’s a certain beauty in staying close to simplicity—and rightfully so. They prefer to let their spaces speak for themselves, using as few words as possible. But for us, they made an exception. Discover the power of simplicity. Get to know Venue Collective.

Making an impact with pure simplicity and ambitions for a better world.

“I could say a lot about our venues, but the images speak for themselves,” says Gerwin Peters, Founder of Venue Collective. “We strongly believe in getting the basics absolutely right—and excelling in them.” And excelling is exactly what Venue Collective does. Stunning light wooden floors, natural beige tones, and walnut finishes create a warm, inviting, and instantly recognizable atmosphere across all venues. But it’s not just about the remarkable spaces—their service and catering are just as outstanding. Thanks to clear commitments and a deep appreciation for the beauty of simplicity.

Welcome to Venue Collective

Easily accessible in Amsterdam, you’ll find the inspiring venues of Venue Collective. Behind the doors of The Conference, you’ll discover a 1,500m² conference center with six distinct spaces—ranging from plenary halls to breakout rooms. The venue also features a beautiful courtyard, perfect for outdoor catering. In addition to The Conference, Venue Collective offers two other meeting locations in Amsterdam. “Everything with the same look and feel,” says Gerwin. “A distinctive loft-style aesthetic with bright, open spaces.”

The promise of Venue Collective

"Our promise is simple," Gerwin explains. "We stand for high-quality venues, high-quality service, and high-quality catering." The venues are designed to inspire connection, creativity, and collaboration. Their service is all about taking the stress out of organizing and hosting events, ensuring a seamless experience for every guest. And their catering? It’s crafted to be delicious, healthy, and energizing. These are the promises Venue Collective makes to every guest and client. "These are the things we truly excel at—the solid foundation we believe in. We know that staying close to simplicity works, and we see the beauty in it."

The team of Venue Collective

At Venue Collective, everyone is eager to go the extra mile. Gerwin explains: “That doesn’t mean working twice as hard, but thinking ahead. That’s exactly what we look for when selecting and training our team.” For clients, it’s a relief to work with professionals who truly understand the industry and are always three steps ahead. This allows organizers to relax more throughout the process—because we’ve already asked the right questions, made thoughtful suggestions, and proactively mapped out potential scenarios. At Venue Collective, we take care of everything, ensuring a seamless experience in organizing and hosting every event or gathering.

A decade of experience

By 2025, the venues of Venue Collective have been almost entirely revamped. Almost, because a lot has been repurposed. “These venues have existed for a decade, so it would be a waste not to breathe new life into what was already there,” says Gerwin. Previously, the brand was known as Wicked Grounds—a name born from a garage brainstorming session between four young entrepreneurs. “Think of Venue Collective as the grown-up version of Wicked Grounds,” Gerwin explains. “We’ve doubled down on what we do best—and we’ll continue to do so in the future.” That’s why the venues’ aesthetics have been carefully reconsidered and completely reimagined. The interiors are stylish and thoughtfully simple, incorporating existing elements to maintain authenticity. This beautiful blend of old and new gives the spaces a sense of life the moment you step inside.

Venue Collective and House of Now and their ambitions

Venue Collective is about more than just renting out stunning locations, delivering excellent service, and providing brilliant catering. Much more. Their mission goes beyond hospitality—they want to inspire and connect the city for a better future. And they do this under the label House of Now. "We aim to bridge the gap between ancient wisdom and modern city life," explains Gerwin. "This has always been part of our vision, but now we want to give it more visibility and focus. With the transition from Wicked Grounds to Venue Collective, House of Now was also born—to bring our ambitions to life in the purest way possible."

House of Now organizes events and gatherings, focusing on the new generations in business. These events serve as a stage for positive, forward-thinking approaches to business, personal growth, and collaboration, with a deep appreciation for the role of ancient wisdom in shaping the modern world. Unlike Venue Collective, House of Now operates as a non-profit initiative. "A portion of the profits from Venue Collective is reinvested into House of Now," Gerwin shares. "Our ambition to reach people, inspire them, and create movement is huge. And what better place to host these events than the venues of Venue Collective? It’s a seamless fit—staying close to simplicity and focusing on what truly matters."
